Accrington Pals

Lesson: History

We have enjoyed a fantastic walk into Accrington this half term, looking for information about the Accrington Pals. We discovered information on benches, enjoyed the exhibition in the Town Hall and finally made our way to Oak Hill park to look at the memorial and read some names. We also found a memorial outside St James' Church and enjoyed the sunshine in Oak Hill Park before returning to school. Back in school, this has had a super impact on the writing that pupils have produced. Well done everyone.
