Welcome
St Anne's & St Joseph's is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School with a Pre-school class for boys and girls aged 3-11 years, comes under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Salford and is part of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust.
The primary purpose of the school is to provide a Catholic education for the children of St Anne’s and St Joseph’s parishes. Strong links exist between home, school and parish. Currently, the children are taught in 7 classes where great emphasis is placed on both pupil progress and pastoral care.
The school building is modern and spacious across several levels. Outside, there are three playground areas which have playground markings to encourage interactive activities. We also have use of fields and woodland areas which are used regularly to enhance the children's learning.
Here at St. Anne’s and St. Joseph’s School, we understand and promote the importance of daily prayer. We teach our children traditional Catholic prayers to provide them the opportunity to become closer to God.
We are a family of pupils and staff, all doing our best to live as Jesus wants us to, trying every day to make sure that ‘love dwells here’. Our mission as a school is rooted in the values of the early Church - Welcome, Witness, Word, Welfare and Worship.
Each class is named after a tree and we hope that over your time with us, your children will grow spiritually as well as academically; from the Acorns who start for the first time each September to the oldest children in Oak.
