St Anne's & St Joseph's is a Roman Catholic Primary School, a Voluntary Academy within Romero Catholic Academy Trust. As part of the Trust, we wholeheartedly promote St Oscar Romero’s vision, “Aspire not to have more, but to be more”.

The primary purpose of our school is to provide a Catholic education for the children of St Anne’s and St Joseph’s parishes and the local community.  Whilst we have ambition for the highest possible academic outcomes for the children in our care, we recognise the importance of nurturing each individual child, made in the image of God, developing and celebrating their God-given talents. We are committed to working with families, governors, the parish and the wider community to ensure the highest possible standards of provision and outcomes across school.

We are uniquely blessed with 6 acres of land which we are developing to promote Pope Francis’ vision Laudato Si. This includes developing the existing Forest School, providing planting and growing experiences, nurturing the existing pond and meadow fields and utilising the waterfall for meaningful learning activities and opportunities for prayer and reflection.

Our school building has been well developed to meet the changing needs of the pupils in our care. This includes access to sensory spaces, reading areas and regulation zones.

Our children are central to the growth and development of our very special school. The mission leadership teams encompass a wide variety of pupil roles across school, including our Chaplaincy Team, Reader Leaders, Laudato Si team, Wellbeing Warriors, pupil governors and many more.

We are a family of pupils, staff and governors, all doing our best to live as Jesus wants us to, trying every day to make sure that ‘love dwells here’, underpinned by our Mission Statement, “With love and faith, we achieve together, for we are nothing without Christ”.
